Judith Gäckler is studying Journalism and Communication Studies as well as Political Science in her master's program at the University of Vienna. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication Studies at the University of Vienna with a focus on political and feminist media research. She supports Folker Hanusch as a teaching assistant in research and organization.

As a tutor, she has been holding a "FOLO Communication Studies Research Logic and Philosophy of Science" seminar with a focus on "Sexism and Hate Speech" since the Winter Semester 2020. Previously, she was a tutor for the lectures "Quantitative Data Collection Methods" and "Statistical Data Analysis". At the Department of Political Science she worked as a coder for the project "Austrian National Election Study" (AUTNES). At the Department of Communication, she was a researcher for the study "The Importance of Appearances: How Suspects and Accused Persons are presented in the Courtroom, in Public and in the Media" (SIR).
