Lena Klampfer is a predoctoral researcher at the Journalism Studies Center (JSC) at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna. In her research, she focuses on the adoption of AI in journalism and how audiences perceive and respond to it.

Previously, she studied Journalism and Communication at the University of Vienna, where she also worked as a research assistant and tutor for the international research project "AWARE", investigating mental health content on social media and its effects on adolescents.
